Getting Started at Haas

At Haas Orthodontic Arts, we believe an informed patient is a confident patient. Browse through the questions below or reach out to our team directly — we’re always here to help.

How do I get started?

To get started, simply call and schedule an appointment at the location that’s most convenient for you. We have orthodontic offices in Stow and Akron/Canton. During your first visit, we will perform an oral exam and discuss our findings with you.
If treatment is necessary, we will recommend and, with your consent, obtain the appropriate records we need to prepare a complete diagnosis.

If your child is not ready for treatment, we will monitor him or her at 6-to-12-month intervals. When the time is right for treatment, we will let you know and recommend that records be taken for further consultation as noted above.

Are there any forms I need to complete?

You will receive a email or text with a link to documents containing forms such as HIPPA and Privacy Practices to fill out prior to your first appointment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to our office on the day of your first appointment to fill out your Patient History forms.

If I have an exam, do I have to begin treatment?

No. The orthodontic exam is done to provide you with the information you need to make an educated decision. If you do not want to begin treatment, it is a free consultation for children and $75 for adults.
